Privacy Policy
Last updated: 31 July 2026
This policy explains what data the app reads, what it stores, and how long it keeps it. The app helps merchants reorder stock: it tracks minimum and maximum stock levels, drafts purchase orders for suppliers, and records deliveries.
What the app reads from your store
Through the Shopify Admin API, and only while installed:
- Products, variants and SKUs — to know what can be reordered.
- Inventory levels and locations — to see what is running low and where stock arrives.
- Order history — only the variant identifier and the quantity of each line, used to calculate how fast a product sells so the app can suggest stock levels.
What the app does not collect
The app does not store any personal data about your customers. Names, email addresses, phone numbers, shipping and billing addresses, and payment details are never read, stored, or transmitted. The app has not requested access to those fields.
What the app stores
- Your suppliers: name, optional code, optional email address, and lead time.
- Minimum and maximum stock levels per product variant.
- Purchase orders: their lines, quantities ordered and received, and unit costs.
- An access token for your store, so the app can talk to Shopify on your behalf.
Supplier email addresses are business contact details supplied by you. They are used only to address purchase orders you choose to send.
Where data is kept
Data is stored in a managed PostgreSQL database with encryption at rest. All traffic between your store, the app and that database is encrypted in transit using TLS. Access is limited to the app itself and its operator.
Sharing
Your data is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or training machine-learning models. The only external service involved is Shopify itself, plus the hosting and database providers that run the app.
Retention and deletion
- When you uninstall: your access token is deleted immediately. Your suppliers, stock levels and purchase orders are kept for 48 hours, so that reinstalling the app does not lose your work.
- 48 hours after uninstalling: Shopify sends a shop redaction request, and every remaining record for your store is permanently deleted.
- Customer data requests and redactions: handled as required by Shopify. Because no customer personal data is stored, there is nothing to return or erase, and the app confirms this.
You can request deletion at any time by uninstalling the app or by contacting us.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and similar laws you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the data described above, and may object to its processing. Requests are answered within 30 days.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date above is updated. Material changes are communicated to installed merchants.
